Medical Center Clinic is pleased to welcome Kathryn Carpenter, PA-C, to the Department of Rheumatology at Medical Center Clinic.

Kathryn is a nationally certified physician assistant (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the state of Florida. Kathryn graduated Summa Cum Laude from Samford University, located in Birmingham, AL, with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She furthered her education by earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the same institution.

Kathryn’s extensive clinical rotations have exposed her to a wide range of medical specialties, including neurosurgery, cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, emergency medicine, general surgery, women’s heath and behavioral health. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care and improving the lives of patients within the community. She will be seeing patients under the direct supervision of board-certified rheumatologists, Patricia Kachur MD, Brian Kirby MD, Richard Meyerholz MD, and Michael Vandenberg MD.

As part of the MusculoSkeletal Center at Medical Center Clinic, the Rheumatology Department collaborates closely with the departments of neurology, orthopaedics, pain management, and physical therapy. This collaborative approach ensures that patients receive comprehensive and seamless care all under one roof. The team of physicians and physician extenders specializes in conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations and providing treatments for over 100 types of diseases affecting the muscles, bones, joints, and other connective tissues. With a focus on autoimmune disorders and musculoskeletal conditions, the care team offers patients a comprehensive approach to diagnosis, treatment, and management.
